Mark Roman & The KBC

American bassist Mark Roman blends Blues, Calypso and Northern Soul in songwriting that celebrates diversity, reflecting his own tri-cultural upbringing.

In his capable hands, the string bass becomes the perfect vessel for this finely curated confluence of musical elements.

Founded in 2008 in New York City, the KBCollective features this work, continuing the intercultural collaborative tradition of handmade American music.
